3-year-old girl tortured by parents for being a witch rescued by the police
3-year-old Sarah from Amichi, Nnewi, Anambra State, has been rescued from her parents who physically abused her with sticks, left her outside in the rain and locked her up in dark room with no food or water, for allegedly being a witch.
According to Sam Itauma, little Sarah who went through these abuses have been rescued by
the Anambra State Police Command, as Anambra State Police Commissioner, Sam Okaula also directed that her parents should be arrested. She has been hopitalized and currently receiving all the medical attention she needs.
It was also gathered that Sarah who was accused of carrying out spiritual attacks on her family, also had mental challenges, which might have added to her parents frustration which led to the assault charges.
