Okonjo-Iweala, Sanusi begged us to save but we as governors refused - former governor, Peter Obi says
Former Anambra state governor, Peter Obi, said that while he was a governor, himself and other governors that served under the Goodluck Jonathan administration, refused to heed the warning of former Minister of Finace, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala and Former Central Bank Governor, now Emir of Kano, Muhammad Sanusi II, to save for the rainy day. Obi said this in an interview with CNBC Africa, yesterday
