Actress Strips Completely N*ked for Animal Rights (Photos)
Alicia Silverstone is an American actress, producer, author and activist.
The actress is renowned for her beauty.
Recently, Silverstone just lent her s*x appeal to People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, PETA – and cruelty-free never looked so good.
The actress, best known for her leading role in nineties hit film Clueless, took her love for animals to sizzling heights as she posed in her birthday suit for a new ad.
With the words “I’d rather go na ked than wear wool” emblazoned above her, the blonde smouldered over her shoulder clutching a sheep mask.
Her rump takes centre stage, while her golden locks are worn in loose curls tumbling around her shoulders.
With the lush greenery around her, the star looked equal parts hippie and forest nymph as she pouted away.
The #WoolFreeWinter campaign is fronted by the 40-year-old alongside the tag line “Wear your own skin, let animals keep theirs.”
Alicia has been a vegan for years and explained in an accompanying video why she was passionate about the cause.
“Wool, in general, has not been thought about by many, many people. It’s just not something that’s brought to their attention,” she said.
“The biggest thing that people always say to me is, ‘Oh, but they just shear the sheep! They don’t kill the sheep. In fact, the gentle animals are often beaten, kicked, and mutilated so that their wool can be made into sweaters, coats, scarves, gloves, and boots,” she went on.
“It’s on the slaughterhouse floor where they’re on a conveyor belt and it’s just so fast, the shearing process, that they’re cut, they’re harmed. They get very seriously wounded, and there’s no care for them when they’re wounded. It’s just, ‘Move on to the next.’
“These are not creatures to the people who are doing this. They’re just objects. When the sheep are no longer useful, they’re killed.”
It’s not Alicia’s first rodeo with PETA. She first posed naked with them back in 2008, seductively draping herself in front of a pool.
She also participated in a video exposing the brutality of the down industry, targeting fashion houses like Louis Vuitton and Marc Jacobs for “horrific cruelty.”
