Must See: 3 Kitchen Ingredients That Lighten Dark Armpits
Nothing kills confidence faster than dark armpits.
You know how you’re slaying but always have to remember never to lift your arms? This is probably because you’re ashamed of people seeing those black pits that are plaguing your life.
Fret not for the days of “by force” long sleeved clothings are over
Dark armpits can be embarrassing but that doesn’t mean you can’t lighten them. Lightening dark pits doesn’t involve complex dermatological procedures. You can do that using any of the following ingredients found in your home:
1. Potatoes
I know this sounds like something out of science fiction but potatoes are great at lightening dark armpits. Simply, cut your potato into 2 slices. Rub the cut portion on your underarm. Leave it in there for 20-30 minutes. Then wash your armpit with warm water. You should see results within a month of consistent use.
2. Lemons
Everyone is aware of the bleaching properties of lemons. Unlike bleaching creams, lemons aren’t expensive and won’t damage your skin. You can also use lemons to lighten other dark areas like the thighs, knees, elbows and even your face. All you have to do is cut a lemon into two slices. Rub into the problem area. Allow the lemon juice to dry, then wash off. Viola! You’re well on your way to getting lighter armpits, thighs or wherever.
3. Baking Soda
Baking powder is one versatile ingredient. You can use baking soda to whiten your sneakers, teeth, armpits or even as a face mask. To use baking soda in lightening your arm, pour some baking soda into a bowl. Add water and make a paste with it. Apply the paste to your armpit and leave on for 20-30 minutes. Do this as often as possible till your armpits no longer look like a tar pit.
