•TELL US ABOUT YOUR SELF ?

Am Mbam Victor by name am 20 years of age actually.
I was born in Enugu but am from Ebonyi state. I was born in a family of eight
four girls and for boys and am the sixth child from both parents. Igrew up in a barracks
My dad was a Police officer, so basically I knew the rough life.

•WOW, SO TELL US HOW YOUR CHILDHOOD WAS LIKE?

Ummm, my childhood was fun actually growing up with girls far older than I and my elder brother, I was used to seeing guys giving us money or buying suya, akara or biscuits for us to
Help them call our sisters for them, although we lived in a barracks my parents were quite
disciplined and strict we were not allowed outside as we wished for and we couldn't play with just any kid. We had to go from school in the morning to home and from home to church back to home again no time for misbehaving.

•INTERESTING CHILDHOOD, SO WHY THE NAME MCVIZ, HOW DID IT COME TO BE?

Actually I answered quite a number of name in Church I was called wiper,in school I was called Abino, bady white,Thuskarere da kaskachukwa and so many others but I basically choosed the name Mcviz from my name Victor Co's I saw myself more as a multi a entertainer and so I had to have this sort of central name and classy too.

•QUITE AN HISTORY OF NAMES,SO MCVIZ WHY DID YOU LIKE CHOOSE THE COMEDY INDUSTRY?

For first I was quite funny as a kind with both my words and actions, I remember playing the MR BEAN lines of being funny, I was good in acting funny plays both in school and church intact at one time in Church I was given a one year Scholarship by a visiting pastor during our children's day celebration. In school I won the first runner up in the comedy competitions in school but the cap of this all is I always love making people laugh, I have the passion for this industry of laughing.

•NICE, DID YOU START STANDUP COMEDY OFFICIALLY?

Ha! In my Jss one, in the secondary school I attended there was this show held every Tuesday before the breaks it was known as the variety show, I used to perform with a friend then a two man show, we were quite popular in school and most times we were not punished for some misbehaviour but I started officially in 2012 by then I had studied my style of comedy.

•SOUNDS EXCITING, WHAT WERE THE CHANLLENGES WHEN YOU STARTED?

Quite a lot of challenges ranging from how to get this platform's to showcase your talents, getting people to believe in you was also a challenge but my biggest challenge was my shyness and inferiority complex. See I was born shy and with an edge of this inferiority complex, I tried so much to overcome this until I did but the real hero in all this was God.

•THATS SUPRISING YOU BEING SHY, TELL WHAT ARE STILL THE CHALLENGES OF THE INDUSTRY?

The biggest challenge is acceptance for people to believe that you could actually deliver, another is the issue of copyright in this you see other comedians cracking your jokes on stage without giving credit to you as the creator, another is as a comedian dressing nice is important and important especially when you are to anchor an event it's normally challenging, you never eat belly full na cloth you won buy but yet you are expected to dress well or you are rated off as a monger.

•OKAY, SO HOW MUCH DO YOU CHARGE FOR YOUR EVENTS?

Ummm this kind question I dey suspected you eh,hahaha. Well if you must know I don't have a fixed charge cos there I factors I consider as a person before taking money. I look at your level cos all fingers are not equal another I check the relationship I have with you may be as I colleague or a friend but basically all my prices are negotiateable, some times I host free shows for some corporate bodies and individuals.

•SO WHO ARE YOUR ROLE MODELS IN THE INDUSTRY?
Yea, I look up to Kelvin Hart for his deliveries, AY for his Shows packaging, Bovi, Basketmouth and Seyi law.

•SO WHERE DO WE SEE YOU IN THE NEXT FIVE YEARS?

You guys would see me having the biggest comedy show and club in Africa, far bigger than AY, you guys would see me impacting lives and giving people a reason to life, I want to give people this platforms as far as they can deliver.

•NICE MEETING YOU MCVIZ, WE HOPE TO SEE MORE OF YOU SHARING TIPS ON BEING A GOOD ENTERTAINER .

The pleasure is mine, thank you very much

•ANY LAST WORDS TO THE YOUNG ENTERTAINERS OUT THERE?

Three words to you guys dream you dreams, live your dreams, build your dreams. There is no one better than you except you so take a step, another step and then another step and you begin to walk and fly.
