Obiano Commissions 27 Solar-Powered Boreholes in Aguata, Anambra East

Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra state has commissioned twenty Seven solar powered boreholes across communities in aguata and Anambra east council areas of the state.

Performing the ceremony, governor obiano said the projects were an effort by his administration in collaboration with the european union and unicef to provide potable water and public toilets that promote good hygiene in the befitting communities. Governor Obiano also reiterated his determination’s resolve to improve the people’s lives and make Anambra state one of the cleanest states in Nigeria. Communities in the twenty-seven localities of Aguata and Anambra East local government area had lived in difficulties of getting good drainage water but now have cause to rejoice as Governor Obiano promised to construct thirty more boreholes in the second phase of the eu/unicef supported rural water supply and sanitation
